![]() ![]() ![]() You would have to consciously work to design a worse CSR system. Took 4 months and 3 visits to get our appliance fixed. They make false promises re follow up and visits and don't live up to them. It took 3 visits and 4 mons to get our appliance fixed. They can't track parts so you are left in limbo for months. The CSR are terrible on follow through and untrained. The phone system literally hangs up on customers while on hold. Their phone system doesn't work and causes endless delays. The phone CSR people are terrible and caused water damage that they refused to pay for. Our Bosch 300 stopped working at about 13 mon. Where would you put a second intake? In the basement on the other side of the big room? Top floor bedroom? (Not sure how we could make that look good aesthetically speaking.) Ideas for second intake? Thank you for your patience. I'm not even sure where the duct work is for that floor! (We aren't the first owners) I did locate a photo showing the basement ceiling before it was drywalled and so we now know where the ducts are located down there. I'm pretty sure there is no intake vent on the top floor. The top floor consists of just a bedroom, bathroom, and loft area overlooking the living room. The only other intake that I can think of is the one in the main floor hall. Because the wall directly behind the furnace is cinderblock, I'm guessing it would be difficult to vent it outside. The long wall to the left that opens to the outside and the short section of wall next to the utility closet where the TV is now located are the only walls that are not cinderblock and/or cement. It is a daylight basement that used to double as a single garage. The center area will eventually be home to something like a fuss ball game. It is a fairly large room with that TV area to one side, a wet bar against one wall and built in bunk beds against the other wall under the stairs. The bathroom is the only other room in the basement. You mention that we need to move the air intake to another room. A lot of this discussion goes over my head and I'm trying to sort it out. Regarding those that don't have grinders, is cleaning out a food cup terribly gross?įortunately, summer is when we primarily use the cabin!! I warned that there might be more questions. I have always had dishwashers with food grinders. We mostly chose the Electrolux for its appearance - it matches the oven we selected, but we also like its interior layout and price. I'm looking at the Electrolux which is rated at 53 db, according to their website. I think you said you put doors under your cooktop - how much clearance did you allow for under the cooktop? What do you store under it? I'm frustrated by the whole "needs 12" of clearance" issue but I really want this particular cooktop for its looks, price, features, and availability. Would you mind giving me an update on what you think of it? I plan to install the Profile version of what you have. As best I can recall, you have had it since October. ![]() Oskiebabu - I am so thrilled to see your response and I have to hijack my own post to ask you about your GE Monogram 36" induction cooktop. ![]()
